Landscapes are defined as all the visible features of an area of countryside or land, often considered in terms of their aesthetic appeal. While you won't find my landscape photos publicly posted in a gallery on my site, I am rather fond of photographing them.
One of the first ones I ever took and loved was shot in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Pictured in this photo is the governors mansion on the right, with the bay covering the majority of the image. This photo was taken back in 2005 on my high school trip to the island.
Maybe one of the most impacting images was an early morning long exposure from my view from the Intercontinental Hotel. On this particular morning a major tropical storm was approaching the area which provided for a rather dramatic scene.
But not every landscape needs to be taken as such. I love adding a twist and shooting them in portrait mode. It gives you a new perspective on something that's rather standard and also rather useful for smartphone wallpapers.
Lastly, I cannot end without adding a Disney related photo. This image is a HDR composition of EPCOT's Spaceship Earth.
